The Boys Are Back: The true story of a man who must suddenly raise his two sons alone after the untimely passing of his second wife. The ill-prepared Joe, who is dealing with his own loss, is confronted with the daily challenges of parenthood while coping with his young son Artie's expressions of grief. Directed by Scott Hicks. Starring Clive Owen, Laura Fraser, Emma Booth, George MacKay. Rated: PG-13 for some sexual language and thematic elements.

Saw VI: In this latest installment of the horror saga, Detective Hoffman emerges as the unchallenged successor to Jigsaw's legacy of terror. Starring Tobin Bell, Costas Mandylor, Mark Rolston, Betsy Russell, Shawnee Smith and Peter Outerbridge. Directed by Kevin Greutert. Rated R for sequences of grisly bloody violence and torture, and language.

Astro Boy: A young robot boy endowed with incredible powers embarks on a journey of acceptance and learns what it means to be a hero. Directed by David Bowers. Starring Freddie Highmore, Nicolas Cage, Charlize Theron, Donald Sutherland, Kristen Bell. Rated PG for some action and peril, and brief mild language.

Cirque Du Freak: THE VAMPIRE'S ASSISTANT: A teenage boy finds his destiny when he stumbles upon a vampire and his traveling freak show. Directed by Paul Weitz. Starring John C. Reilly, Ken Watanabe, Josh Hutcherson, Chris Massoglia, Ray Stevenson. Rated PG-13 for sequences of intense supernatural violence and action, disturbing images, thematic elements and some language.

Amelia: Hilary Swank stars in the story of pioneering aviatrix Amelia Earhart, the first woman to fly across the Atlantic Ocean. Directed by Mira Nair. Starring Hilary Swank, Richard Gere, Ewan McGregor, Christopher Eccleston, Joe Anderson. Rated PG for some sensuality, language, thematic elements and smoking.
