Al Di La is now serving lunch and dinner Tuesday through Saturday.
Lunch service is 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Dinner service is 6-10 p.m. Al Di La's patio and bacaro/wine bar (full service) open at 5:30 p.m.
Culinary movements
High Cotton is hosting a dinner Sunday, inspired by the movements of Ludwig van Beethoven's monumental Septet for Winds and Strings.
The dinner follows a concert performance at 5 p.m. by Chamber Music Charleston at the Circular Congregational Church, 150 Meeting St.
The cost for the dinner is $56 per person, plus tax and gratuity. The special price of $50 is available for members of Maverick Collection, Chamber Music Charleston and those attending the concert. Seating is limited.

Fall wine dinner
The Old Village Post House celebrates the fall season with a wine reception and dinner Oct. 21 that will feature champagnes and wines of Henriot. Patrick O'Byrne, a representative from the Henriot Champagne house, will be on hand to share tasting and food pairing notes as well as information about the wine origins.
The menu is created by executive chef Frank Lee and chef de cuisine Jim Walker, with wine pairings by Patrick Emerson, Wine and Beverage director. The event is $55 per person, plus tax and gratuity. The full menu can be viewed at www.oldvillageposthouse.com.

Crepes and chefs
Beginning Saturday, the Charleston Crepe Company's crepe stand at the Charleston Farmers Market will feature a weekly blackboard special created by some of the peninsula's finest chefs.
Participating chefs include Craig Deihl of Cypress, Mike Lata of FIG, Frank McMahon of Hank's, Brett McKee of Oak Steakhouse, Ryan Kacenjar of The Francis Marion Hotel, and celebrated cookbook author Nathalie Dupree.
Pane & Vino celebrates
Pane & Vino at 17 Warren St. celebrate fall and Tuscany on Tuesday. A special menu will be served from 6-10 p.m. and a percentage of the profits will be donated to Charleston Breast Center. Reservations are required. For more information, call 442-2163.
McKee crossing bridge
Oak Steakhouse's chef Brett McKee is heading to Mount Pleasant with plans to open a new restaurant in the space formerly occupied by Oink at 3562 U.S. Highway 17. On the menu: comfort food with a dash of nostalgia. A November opening is planned.
Taste Belgian beers
Laura Alberts Tasteful Options will host a beer tasting of the Best of Belgium 7-8:30 p.m. today. Laura Alberts is at 891 Island Park Drive on Daniel Island. The cost is $20 and reservations required. Call 881-4711.
Vespa now open
