If you can name this wrestler, then you should attend one of the Old School Championship Wrestling events. (This is wrestling pro Triple H, by the way).

Old School Championship Wrestling (OSCW) has been carving out a niche for local and regional pro wrestlers to show their stuff.

Tonight, the stars of OSCW will body slam their way onto the big screen.

The Terrace Theater on James Island presents "Black and Bruised," a taping of OSCW's event held Aug. 31.

The movie begins at 7 p.m., but wrestlers will be available for a meet and greet beginning at 6 p.m., including former WWE performer and MTV "Tough Enough" star Al Snow.

Organizing independent wrestling shows without the benefit of television to promote such events isn't always easy, and yet the folks who run OSCW have been putting on consistent, well-attended wrestling cards at Weekend's Pub in Goose Creek for some time.

The screening of "Black and Bruised" is a celebration of that success, and will be followed Oct. 11 with another promising wrestling event, "Caged Carnage 4" at Weekend's Pub.

The main event features former WWE superstar Kevin Thorn taking on OSCW's Malachi inside a steel cage.

Local fans are lucky to have an outfit like OSCW that puts on shows on a regular basis, and whether on the big screen or seeing them in the squared-circle in person, Lowcountry rasslin' fans will have plenty to choose from in October.
