Law firm to open W.Va. office
The largest law firm based in South Carolina is opening its first office in West Virginia this week.
Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough is opening in the city of Huntington on Tuesday, the Columbia-based law firm said last week.
The location is the second new city for the firm since January and will be the law firm's 12th location.
With several hundred attorneys, Nelson Mullins is South Carolina's largest law firm. It was established in 1897. The firm said it has the 15th largest legal presence in Atlanta and the 22nd largest in North Carolina.
In addition to Atlanta, Boston, Tallahassee and Washington, Nelson Mullins has seven offices in the Carolinas, including one in downtown Charleston.
