Oyster roast to benefit center

Saturday, November 21, 2009



An oyster roast fundraiser for the Outreach Learning Center at St. Matthew's will be held from 3-6 p.m. Sunday at the Elks Lodge at 1113 Sam Rittenberg Blvd., in West Ashley.

The oyster roast, catered by Mount Pleasant Seafood, will feature a silent auction and live musical entertainment by bluegrass band, Wood & Steel.

Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door, and $10 for children; tickets are available at the center or at www.connectinghands.org. For more information, or contact Mary Pappas at mepappas@edisto.cofc.edu or (704) 604-5720.
