The Rockin’ Charleston Open Car & Truck Show will be held in Adams Run and in North Charleston. Registration, which is $20, is 9 a.m.-noon at 6373 Spring Grove Road in Adams Run. All cars, trucks and motorcycles are welcome. There will be food, a swap meet and horseshoes. Judging starts at noon with awards at 3 p.m. Trophies for Best of Show, Best Paint and top three in class: Chevy, Ford, Chrysler, truck, antiques, street rod, rat rod, Corvette, Mustang, motorcycles, tractors, VW and foreign. Proceeds go to the American Heart Association. The show is in memory of Will Drake, Southeast National Street Rod Association representative. To get to the event in Adams Run, follow Savannah Highway (U.S. Highway 17) south to Spring Grove Road and turn right. A cruise-in will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at Andolini's Pizza on Coleman Boulevard in Mount Pleasant. Toys will be collected for Toys for Tots.
