Man shot in leg in Summerville

SUMMERVILLE -- Dorchester County deputies are investigating a Tuesday afternoon shooting.

Deputies responded to Pidgeon Bay Road at 4 p.m. and found the 34-year-old victim lying on the ground with a gunshot wound in his lower right leg.

The man was taken to a local hospital where he was able to give investigators some details about the shooter, said Maj. John Garrison. No one has been arrested at this time.
