Dinners/events
Bubble tasting: In Good Taste, 1901 Ashley River Road, hosts its annual Bubble Tasting 6-8 p.m. today. Includes multiple vendors and food. $25 in advance, $30 at the door. Couples $40 in advance, $50 at door. Call 763-5597.
Wine dinner: The Red Pepper Italian Eatery at 709 N. Main St. in Summerville is hosting a five-course food-and-wine dinner at 7 p.m. Thursday. Five Italian wines will be paired with dinner. $50 plus tax and tip. Call 873-8600 for reservations.
Tasting and wine sale: Charleston Grill and sommelier Rick Rubel are hosting a cellar tasting and wine sale noon-3 p.m. Nov. 27-28. Rubel will conduct a walk-around tasting of 25-30 wines selected by him as values for the holidays. All wines will be available for sale. $20 admission refundable with a case purchase. Charleston Grill is in Charleston Place Hotel. Call 577-4522 for information.
Wine Strolls: Middleton Place, 4300 Ashley River Road, hosts a Wine Stroll through the gardens 5:30-7 p.m. every Wednesday through November. $10, 556-6020.
