Runoffs set for Charleston, Moncks Corner councils
By Robert Behre
This month's elections will draw to a close today as voters in Moncks Corner and part of the city of Charleston return to the polls Tuesday to decide council runoffs.
Polls will open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the same locations used in the original elections earlier this month.
Charleston voters in District 10 will pick either Ginger Rosenberg or Dean C. Riegel to fill the West Ashley seat long held by retiring Councilman Larry Shirley.
Those who want to vote can find their precinct's polling place online here.
Moncks Corner voters will choose between incumbent Laura Perdue and challenger Johna Bilton for the last Moncks Corner Town Council seat.
The two candidates tied earlier this month. All voting for the Moncks Corner runoff will take place at the town's offices on 118 Carolina Ave.
