CONCERT ASSOCIATION OPENER: Bruckner Orchestra Linz features two soloists when the Charleston Concert Association kicks off its fall season Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m. Gaillard Auditorium. Tickets are $25-$99 and can be purchased at CCA headquarters at 131 King St. or through Ticketmaster.
BAND CONCERT: The Charleston Community Band is presenting a free concert at Christ Church (2304 Highway 17 North) in Mount Pleasant at 6 p.m. today. The concert is a benefit or ECCO and Meals on Wheels. Nonperishable food donations will be collected at concert. Visit charlestoncommunityband.com.

IVEY BALLET: The Robert Ivey Ballet fall performance, "A Season to Celebrate," 3 p.m. today at Sottile Theatre, 44 George St. Program includes old and new works, and jazz and modern dance will be performed by Ivey Youth Ballet. "PIRATES OF PENZANCE": The Company Company's dinner theater production of "The Pirates of Penzance" presented at 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and at 6:30 p.m. Sundays, through Nov. 22 at Lookout Pavilion, 20 Patriots Point Road, just past the Yorktown in Mount Pleasant. Dining starts at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 for heavy hors d'oeuvres Friday, $55 for a three-course dinner Saturday and $30 for an Italian family-style dinner on Sundays.
