In time for Thanksgiving, a food bank on the South Carolina coast is getting an $85,000 refrigerated food truck.

The Lowcountry Food Bank in North Charleston is getting the truck Thursday. It’s one of 35 trucks being given away nationwide by the Wal-Mart Foundation during its annual holiday giving campaign.

As part of the donation, the food bank is also receiving 12 pallets of food and fresh apples in time to distribute to families in the Charleston area for Thanksgiving.
