Rick Reinert of Wells Gallery participates Saturday in the Charleston Fine Art Dealers' Association Painting in the Park event. Reinert, a full-time painter for 2 1/2 years who earlier worked as a mortgage broker, was taking part for the first time. The plein air event (French for on location) took place at Washington Park downtown. The paintings were donated to the Charleston Art Auction to benefit Charleston County high school art programs.
