Traffic is back to normal on Interstate-526 this morning, hours after a tractor-trailer hit a median wall and jacknifed.

The 18-wheeler crashed in the westbound lanes of I-526 at Rivers Avenue at about 7:30 a.m. The driver of the semi was taken to a local hospital with a head injury, said Spencer Pryor, public information officer for North Charleston Police.
