Group plans annual luncheon
The Charleston Regional Development Alliance, which promotes the tri-county area to businesses that are expanding or relocating, will hold its annual luncheon and update about the past year on Nov. 12.
The alliance was involved in recruiting the Boeing Co.
The scheduled keynote speaker at the luncheon is David Sanger, chief New York Times Washington correspondent and author of "The Inheritance: The World Obama Confronts and the Challenges to American Power."
The event will be noon-1:30 p.m. at Trident Technical College's Complex for Economic Development off Rivers Avenue in North Charleston. Tickets are $55 for alliance investors and $60 for others. Go to www.crda.org/annualluncheon.
