Christopher R. Tobin has been named vice president of development at the College of Charleston. Previously, he was associate dean for alumni and development at Tulane Law School. He also has worked at Goizueta Business School at Emory University as senior associate director of development and director of major gifts.
Also, Sherry Brown- Gadsden has been promoted to head of circulation at the College of Charleston's Addlestone Library. She attended Morris College and Shaw University.
Logistics
Andy Crane and Tony Wilmoth have joined Regal Logistics as sales directors based in the company's Charleston distribution center. Crane has more than 17 years of experience and previously has held senior logistics and sales positions with large manufacturers; including Perry Ellis and Nabisco. He has a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Miami.
Wilmoth has more than 10 years of experience as a logistics and warehousing. Previously he worked for LBL Distribution and LSI Labeling Services. He has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Central Washington University.
Maritime
Don H. "Bo" Brown Jr. has been named vice president of administration at Rogers & Brown Custom Brokers, Inc. A part ownership of Rogers & Brown; has served on its board of directors for the past five years. He has a bachelor's degree in corporate communications from the College of Charleston.
Also, Michael J. McCormack has joined Rogers & Brown as director of information systems. He has more than 30 years of industry experience. Previously, he was president of McCormack & Associates.
Nonprofit
Robin Berlinsky has joined the Children's Museum of the Lowcountry and Christine Kelly has been promoted at the museum. Berlinsky is returning as director of education. She has 21 years of experience writing school curriculum and programming and has taught first and fifth grades in Berkeley and Charleston county schools. She was a founding board member at the museum and served as its first director of education from 2001 to 2003.
Kelly has been promoted to operations manager after serving two years as the museum's administrator. Previously, she worked for Monster Worldwide, Morgan Stanley and a strategic communications firm in New York.
Personal care
Barbara Brant-Williams has joined Strawberry Blonde Salon as a stylist. She has more than 30 years of experience.
Real estate
Paula Edwards Wadley has joined William Means Real Estate as a residential sales agent based in the firm's Mount Pleasant office. She has a bachelor's degree from the College of Charleston. Previously, she worked in marketing in Atlanta and for a book-seller in Birmingham, Ala. She also owned a wedding and event planning business.
Melissa Ward Durinsky, Mark Frisch and Lisa C. Rourk has joined ERA Tides Realty.
Previously, Durinsky was with Exit Realty Charleston Group. She has a bachelor's degree from the College of Charleston and taught French for 10 years in Charleston County schools.
Frisch previously was with Copper Roof Properties. He has a background in property management and maintenance.
Rourk is a broker associate. Formerly co-owner of Tide Marsh Real Estate, she has more than 11 years of industry experience with an emphasis on relocations and international property sales.
Staffing
Heidi Windemueller and Jarrett Lindon have joined Hire Quest LLC.
Winde-mueller is assistant controller. She has a bachelor's degree in accounting from the College of Charleston and a master's degree in business administration from The Citadel. Previously, she worked in public accounting.
Lindon is vice president of operations. He has a bachelor's degree in business from The Citadel and has more than 10 years of industry experience. Previously, he was with Trojan Labor.
Technology
Michael Finch, Kevin Hurley and Bert Lim have joined Charleston-based Benefitfocus as associates. Finch is enterprise account executive; Hurley is director of employer sales; Lim is enterprise account executive.
Vehicle repair
Tiffany Garland has joined Glasspro's corporate staff as executive assistant. Previously, she was an administrative assistant at St. Philip's Church. She has a bachelor's degree in political science from the College of Charleston.
