Pet Briefs
Just in time for summer vacation, Petside.com, the online destination for pet owners and pet enthusiasts, has released its list of the Top Five Pet-Friendly Hotels, this time focusing on budget hotel chains to help the cost-conscious traveler.
Motel 6 earns its "four paw" rating by welcoming pets at every one of its 900-plus locations. One pet is allowed per room, and no additional fee or deposit is required. Motel 6's pet policy is also well-established; the chain has been welcoming pets since 1962.
"Keeping costs low is a top priority for pet owners as they make summer travel plans this year," said Joshua Fried, director, Petside.com. "We are thrilled this list provides so many affordable options for pets to have their summer vacation, too."
The other hotels that rank among Petside.com's Top Five Pet-Friendly Budget Hotel Chains are La Quinta Inns & Suites, Red Roof Inn, Best Western and Candlewood Suites. Budget-conscious pet owners can visit www.petside.com to read the complete list and find other helpful tips for traveling with four-legged companions.
