Authorities: Man shot nephew in the buttocks
staff report
HARLEYVILLE — Authorities say a 70-year-old man shot his nephew in the buttocks early this morning in what may have been self-defense.
Dorchester County Sheriff Capt. James Nettles said deputies responded to Second Bend Road around midnight in response to the non-fatal shooting.
Nettles said the man shot his nephew but no one has been charged. He said they're still investigating whether the man acted in self-defense.
