No charges for pizza man who killed attacker
LEXINGTON - Authorities say a South Carolina pizza delivery man will not face charges for shooting a man who attacked him on his route.
Lexington County Sheriff James Metts said Thursday that Pizza Hut delivery driver Christopher Steven Miller acted in self-defense when he shot and killed 17-year-old Paul Andrew Sturgill Jr. last week.
Authorities say Sturgill and two other men chased Miller when he arrived to deliver pizza, and Miller fired while being beaten by one of them.
Authorities say Miller has a concealed weapons permit and had been robbed while delivering pizzas before.
Two suspects have been arrested and charged with robbery and criminal conspiracy.

I also agree that this is good. This needs to be highly publicized so other idiots will see that there are repercussions to their actions. These stupid kids probably thought it would be no big deal to take a few bucks from the pizza man and now one of them is dead. Sucks for him, but he had it coming.

You reap what you sow! If he didn't have that gun they would have probably killed him. Karma!

I agree bigdrewsmoove. They need to take this story to the middle and high schools. Let them see what can happen when (as my Dad used to say) you write a check your azz can't cash. You never know who's packing heat. Thank God this man was, he couldve been killed had he not been armed. Good job to you Christopher !

I use to manage a Pizza Hut delivery .. The sad thing is that they have a policy against a driver caring any type of weapon. I wonder how Pizza Hut is going to treat this and if the Hero in this story is going to end up being fired. I hope the media does a follow up on how Pizza Hut handles this. They should give him a nice bounces and write a story up on him in the Pepperoni Press the montly news letter that goes out to employees.
