A suspect in a string of seven local robberies has been charged in connection with a restaurant holdup Sunday in West Ashley.

Mark Edward Seifts, 24, of Summerville is charged with armed robbery and accused in the nighttime holdup at the Hardee's on Ashley River Road. An arrest affidavit said he admitted his involvement.

Seifts now faces charges in three of seven robberies in West Ashley, Summerville and North Charleston. Each time, the robber wore a hooded sweatshirt, and in several of the robberies the words "South Pole" were on the shirt.

Maybe more charges means more time, in the pen and off the streets.

I seen this guy on the channel 5 news. He did not seem repent at all. It seemed like he felt like he was a bad azz character. I hope he gets the full prison sentence that is due to him maybe that will wake him up. But I guess if you can rob someone or a business you don't have a conscience. What a dirt bag.
