HELGA: A 1 1/2-year-old female Staffordshire bull terrier that was rescued just in time from a shelter up north. Very high energy and strong. Very sweet, but can also be pretty dominating. Loves to play fetch, needs plenty of room to run and play, and needs to be the only Alpha canine in her world. She comes with six complimentary obedience lessons at Pet Helpers from Charleston School of Dogs.
MILLIE: A 6-year-old greyhound mix who is a returned adoption because of separation anxiety. She's very attached to her humans, so she needs to be crated when left alone for any long period of time. Gets along great with kids and other animals, and is housebroken.
BELLE: About 10 years old, but doesn't look it! Very dainty and quiet, loves affection. A finicky eater. But sweet.
Call Pet Helpers at 795-1110. Adoption fees are $125 for cats and dogs younger than 6 months old, $100 for cats and dogs 6 months or older, and $55 for rabbits. Adoption fees include spaying/neutering, shots, heartworm check, leukemia check, deworming, microchip, collar and tag.
