Robert S. "Bobby" Reese Jr. has joined Sunbelt Business Advisors as a broker based in the company's new Savannah Highway office. Previously, he was director of federal tax policy for the Altria Group and for the American Trucking Associations.

Cathy Myatt has joined Myatt Air Conditioning as vice president of operations. She has a bachelor's degree from Lander University.
Consulting
Michael Aroney has joined GPAllied in North Charleston as principal adviser and leadership and change management thought leader. Previously, he was an officer with the Navy.
GPAllied is a joint venture between General Physics Corp. and Allied Reliability Inc.
Consumer goods
Leanna Mobley has joined Scienceuticals Inc.'s marketing department. She has a bachelor's degree in public relations from Gardner-Webb University.
Government
Gabriel Bluestein, Lisa Kleiber and Brian Waite have joined the Housing Authority of the city of Charleston. Bluestein is information technology manager. He has 15 years of industry experience. He has a bachelor's degree in information systems from the University of Massachusetts. Kleiber is an accountant in the department of administration. She has a bachelor's degree in accounting from Converse College and a master's degree in business administration from Charleston Southern University. Waite is information technology specialist. Previously, he was a computer/ network consultant. He has a bachelor's degree in computer science from the College of Charleston.
Health care
Debra Mixson has been named labor and delivery manager at Trident Medical Center. She had been serving in that role on an interim basis. She is a registered nurse and has a master's degree in nursing.
Insurance
Larry W. McKeehan has joined The Pinckney-Carter Co. as a producer. He has more than 25 years of insurance industry experience. Previously he was with First Carolinas Risk Management Advisors.
Retail
Mike Holtsclaw has been promoted to manager of The Charleston Angler's Summerville store. He had been reel repair technician since 2006, and previously was deputy director of operations and maintenance for the base civil engineer at Charleston Air Force Base.
Technology
Robert Ohr has joined Charleston-based Benefitfocus as area director of enterprise sales responsible for the software company's West Coast clients. He has more than 16 years of experience in health care informatics. Previously, he was vice president of campaign management for DestinationRX.
Travel
Susan D. Altman has joined Abbott & Hill Travel as a travel consultant. She has been a leisure travel specialist in the Charleston area for 28 years.
