Booker on University Games team
Colorado Springs, COLO. — Clemson forward Trevor Booker was named to the 12-man roster to represent the United States for the 2009 World University Games.
Selections were made by the USA Basketball Men's Junior National Team Committee, chaired by Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim. Team USA will practice twice a day at the Olympic Training Center through Wednesday. The Games will be July 2-11 in Belgrade, Serbia.
Booker stood out during USA Basketball's two days of trials. The rising senior from Whitmire was second-team All-ACC last season after leading the Tigers in scoring (15.3 ppg) and rebounding (9.7 rpg).
--Clemson assistant women's basketball coach Saudia Roundtree is leaving for a similar job at North Texas.
Roundtree had spent the past two seasons at Clemson. She will join former Tigers assistant Shanice Stephens, now the North Texas head coach. Roundtree is a native of Anderson who went on to play at Georgia. At Clemson, she worked with the guards.

One of the great things about in-game money and virtual economies is that they never went through this whole economic meltdown. So take that to all of those people who think the real world is better then computer games!
