Subway employees say armed woman robbed restaurant
Charleston County Sheriff's deputies say an armed woman wearing a black skull cap over her face robbed a Johns Island Subway Wednesday night.
The robbery happened at 7:45 p.m. at the Subway on 3750 Savannah Highway.
Employees told deputies that the woman entered the restaurant and walked down the hallway toward the bathrooms. She returned to the front a short while later wearing a black skull cap over her face, an incident report says.
The suspect told the two employees that she had a gun and acted like she had one on her hip. She took all of the money from a tip jar and ordered an employee to give her all of the money from the register, the report says.
The suspect ordered the women to the floor and ran out of the store.
The suspect is described as a "short and heavy" black female wearing black jeans, a plain black shirt and braids in her hair.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 554-1111.

Geez - there are robberies going on everywhere right now. At least this one wasn't in North Charleston. NCPD should see this as a victory I suppose...

and dumber subway has cctv and this moron walked in unmasked and went to the bathroom and came out with the skull cap on
she gave them a few of her face. what a moron
and guys most of these robberies were in west ashley not north charleston

We have taken a step back in time. To the days of Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson, Bonnie and Clyde, etc etc etc. And now the movie "Public Enemies" is soon to be released. Great timing. Wonder if the criminals will use their robbery money to go watch a movie and get robbing tips. Our lawmen (and women) should take a page from Melvin Purvis, Wyatt Earp, and J. Edgar Hoover. To heck with all of the lawyerspeak and take ownership of your cities. Make it a priority. By any means necessary should be their creed. I'll fork over the extra tax dollars if it gets done.

I almost laughed when I thought about her face in the camera on her way to the bathroom! She thought she was 'all that' with her big bad skull cap and her hand on her hip gun. We'll see if she's 'all that' when she gets busted.
The worst thing is, if she's caught, convicted and sentenced to 5 years in prison, depending on where she is sent, it will cost a minimum of $17,000 per year to keep her short, fat azs in our penal system.
It makes you almost want to give her $17,000 to walk out the door and commit another robbery, but this time she is gunned down by a drug dealer who she owes money, then the drug dealer is killed by the po-po.
