HOQUIAM, Wash. - A Hoquiam woman who had five dead dogs in her SUV in Greenville, S.C., also faces animal abuse accusations in Hoquiam.

Police Chief Jeff Myers says Tanya Dunlap faces charges of neglect and abuse including having too many animals, lack of care and lack of food.

Myers told KXRO-AM radio that Dunlap faces arrest on misdemeanor warrants should she return, but the city will not attempt to extradite her.

The 44-year-old and her 20-year-old son were criticized for allowing the dogs to die in their SUV in Greenville.
