Media: Man wasn't killed by fire

LATTA — Firefighters putting out a blaze at a Dillon County home have found the body of a 75-year-old man.

Multiple media outlets reported Tuesday that autopsy results show Harry Bethea Jr. did not die because of the fire in his home the day before, but authorities didn't release additional details.

Firefighters have called in the State Law Enforcement Division to help investigate.

Authorities say they don't know how the fire started.
