Man in custody on gun charges
LADSON — A Woodside Manor man was arrested Saturday and accused of firing a gun into the air while arguing with his niece.
A woman reported the gunfire about 10:30 p.m. She said that she argued with her uncle at a home on Berrywood Drive and her uncle left, but then returned with a gun and pointed it at her, an incident report states. It said she ran inside and then heard gunfire, and neighbors saw the man fire into the air.
Police found the man at a home on Donwood Drive with the .45-caliber, semi-automatic Ruger P90 on the bed beside him, the report states. It said the gun's serial number had been scratched out.
David Leander Mitchell, 36, is charged with pointing a firearm, obliterating a serial number on a weapon and unlawful possession of a gun by a felon, according to the report. It said his criminal history showed he has been convicted of a crime of violence and is not allowed to have a firearm.
Mitchell remained at the Charleston County Detention Center on Tuesday night, the jail said. His total bond was set at $70,000.

Well folks,it looks like Woodside is not the only place shooting it up.
Guns need to be controlled like drugs,they do not mix with a hot headed
person or drinking. Murder is all over the area. Just keep reading the news.
