Staff report
Wednesday, June 17, 2009
Bamberg-Ehrhardt center A.J. Cann committed to South Carolina during a press conference Wednesday morning.
Cann, the second-ranked center nationally, according to Rivals.com, had more than a dozen scholarship offers and picked the Gamecocks over Clemson, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida State and Oklahoma.
Cann becomes the seventh verbal commitment for the Gamecocks' 2010 recruiting class.

So I guess we are supposed to already have knowledge of whether Cann plays football or basketball, since he can be a center in either sport.

It remains a mystery how each and every year USC east gets the top players, has the best facilities, has the best fans and the best coach in existance yet that poor little cow college in the northwest part of the state continues to beat them.
