Upstate woman charged in murder-for-hire case
GREENVILLE - A 47-year-old South Carolina woman faces charges after police say she tried to hire someone to kill her husband.
Vickie Lavern Walker of Taylors was being held Thursday at the Greenville County jail. She is charged with solicitation to commit a felony and conspiracy to commit a felony.
A judge did not set bond on the charges.
Authorities say they were informed that Walker was trying to find someone she could hire to kill her husband. An undercover officer posed as a person Walker could hire and she was arrested after agreeing on a price.
There was no published telephone number for Walker. A jail official wasn't sure if Walker had a lawyer.

So how does one go looking for a hitman? Can you find one on craigslist?
