Motorcyclist and moped driver die in collision
TAYLORS - Two men have died when a motorcycle and a moped collided on a South Carolina city street.
Multiple media outlets reported the two Taylors men died following the wreck late Friday.
Greenville County Deputy Coroner Karie Cain says the motorcycle driver, 50-year-old Joe Pannell, died on the way to the hospital.
Cain says the moped driver, 49-year-old Brian Cote, died Saturday morning at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Bryan McDougald says Cote turned in front of Pannell in Taylors.
Officials say Pannell was wearing a helmet, Cote was not.
