Hollywood voters to elect 3 to council
Hollywood — Voters will go to the polls from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. today to select three Town Council members.
The candidates include three incumbents — Arnold Collins, Annette Sausser and Kenneth Smalls, and three challengers, Herbert Townsend, Mary Harley and Carey Poinsette. The top three vote-getters will win in the nonpartisan race.
Voters in this southern Charleston County town live in seven different precincts, but only three polling places will be open. Voters in the St. Pauls 1, 2 or 2-B precincts will vote at Blaney Elementary School, 7184 S.C. Highway 162.
Those in the St. Pauls 4 and 5 precincts will vote at St. Paul's Fire Station No. 1, 6488 S.C. 162; and those in St. Pauls 3 and 6 and in St. John's 1A precincts will vote at Anro Packaging and Warehouse, 4770 S.C. 162.
