Reevesville man dies in early morning wreck

ST. GEORGE -One Reevesville man died and another is in jail on a felony DUI charge following a head-on collision early Monday morning.

Adell Lewis, Jr., 50, of Reevesville, died instantly at 2:02 a.m., Dorchester County Coroner Chris Nisbet said.

The wreck occurred on U.S. 78, about a mile outside of St. George.

The S.C. Highway Patrol has charged George Lamont Perry, 27, of Reevesville with felony DUI, Cpl. Paul Brouthers said.

Brouthers said the patrol's Multi-disciplinary Accident Investigation Team is assisting in the investigation.

How sad because an ASS choose to drive and endanger others.
And it resulted in an innocent man's death.
Put his silly ass under the jail.
I hate when people are so thoughtless and careless....
