James Is. residents find fliers

Neo-Nazi fliers that upset residents of a Hanahan neighborhood also were left in driveways on James Island.

Last week, residents of Oak Island Drive, a neighborhood off Folly Road near the beach, found them wrapped inside free real-estate magazines that can be picked up in stores.

Kristina Walle said she found a flier outside her house and saw similar ones around the neighborhood. The one she got was from the National Socialist Movement, a white supremacist group based in Detroit. It said something about joining the fight against non-white races and had a swastika on it, she said.

"I couldn't believe it, to see a swastika," she said. "Who would do something like that? I just got appalled."

Hanahan residents on Dominion Drive found similar fliers in their driveways Sunday morning. Those fliers also were from the National Socialist Movement. Police got involved when a resident complained.

The fliers were left in various free newspapers that are commonly available, Hanahan Police Lt. Michael Fowler said. He didn't think any laws were broken, since other free newspapers are commonly left in driveways.

But police were trying to get a fingerprint off the flier to talk with the person who did it, he said. Those tests were not finished as of Tuesday afternoon, Fowler said.

No laws broken? Why go after a finger print? First Amendment no longer in effect? Might be bait by the left now "going after" their "enemies" ...

Hate cannot be tolerated. This is NOT free speech putting the hate in their driveways. They violated the rights of those homeowners. I know of what I speak, having been the victim of hate mail after having a letter to the editor published. It was disturbing. There are still crazies out there. How many more millions would they like to see dead? The Nazis killed 6 million of my co-religionists and they still exist? Yes Hate and Evil will always be with us.
But we will NEVER FORGET!

Hate? How do you know what was on the leaflet? Don't you think it's pretty suspicious the news never quotes from the papers? Many times the papers just says "save your race" or something like that.

Police involved? Why? If no law broken, the police shouldn't do a thing. They should catch criminals.

What about that fingerprint thing? Now the police collecting fingerprints if they don't like the citizens' political views? It is sounds communism to me.

I get hate messages, death treats every day on youtube. So what should I do? Call the police? These people are pathetic. Why anybody call the police because a piece of paper? Are they bored or what?

"How many more millions would they like to see dead?"

You talking about the Israeli army right? They killing the people there. Why don't you speak about Gaza?

"The Nazis killed 6 million of my co-religionists"

And you believe that?

"and they still exist?"

How many people died because the so called Democracy? Because the Anarchy? Becuause the Communism? Just for your informations Cuba, North Korea is still killing people.
