VMI, I lived in Hawaii, from 69 - 71 while my dad was in Vietnam. In Hawaii, the locals had what was called a 'kill haole day' at the end of the school year, the locals would gang up on the white boys and we would have to fight our way home.

Why do people even pay attention to things such as the neo-nazis and such. They should be written off immediately. They know that their side carries no legit, sensible, views or opinions which is why they have to push their agenda, and people aren't running to them. The extreme majority of white people laugh at their ideas and look back at the original nazis the same way any person that was discriminated by them do.

I think the problem here omarro is the fact that when the NAACP speaks up, people pay them no attention because they're whole thing is to make something out of nothing. As soon as I hear that name, the valor of that complaint is absent. They should not be sticking up for the "colored peoples" rights (as they put it). They should be speaking out for all races. Anytime you focus on a minority you lose focus on the majority as citizens. Anytime you favor one side, you are discriminating against another. EOE for example. Solely because there is more of one race at a job, does not mean they're discriminating, it just means more black people or white people work there.

There has been many 'movements' that have turned out to have been manipulated from behind the scenes by those with actual power and we have fallen into the trap of misguided 'blind faith', wether it's religious, racial, political or a mixture of all.
I extoll you all to watch out for those who may try to fan the flames of racial tension and cling to the edicts laid down and agreed to by our Founding Fathers in our Constitution and Bill of Rights.
There is no provision in our laws for racial division anymore and we are always on guard that there not be, but when confronted with adherance to our Constitution and the impact that it has upon those of one race in particular, we are careful, to a fault I believe, that we not offend those of diverse racial backgrounds.
What we need to be focused upon is, the LAW.
The LAW states that if you cross the border illegally, you will be PROSECUTED.
The LAW IS THE LAW. Let's stay focused on that and stop all the fear mongoring and racial bickering that does nothing but divide us. We are bound by the common bonds of our Constitution. If we weaken it, we all become weak. If we stand strong on it's values, we will become strong as a Nation.

I know of what I speak, having been the victim of hate mail after having a letter to the editor published. It was disturbing. There are still crazies out there. How many more millions would they like to see dead? The Nazis killed 6 million of my co-religionists and they still exist? Yes Hate and Evil will always be with us.
But we will NEVER FORGET!
