Selected participants will receive an in-depth education in botany, plant physiology, plant pathology, entomology, soil science, landscape design and plant identification. Each student who is accepted and participates in the 40-hour class will be expected to volunteer the same number of hours to their county Extension Service solving plant and landscape problems through telephone and e-mail inquiries.
