GOOSE CREEK — A resident of the Coventy Green apartments on Gainsborough Drive was robbed Wednesday night in the parking lot of the complex.

About 11 p.m., two males approached the female resident near the 2300 building. One pointed a handgun and grabbed her purse, city spokeswoman Casey Fletcher said.

The suspects fled in the direction of the Hess gas station at Gainsborough and St. James Avenue.

The victim described one suspect as age 25 to 35, 6 feet tall and 180 pounds, possibly with two gold teeth. He wore a white tank top, baggy denim shorts and a black do-rag.

She said the second suspect is about 6 feet tall and 230 pounds. He wore a blue shirt, black shorts and may have also worn a black do-rag.

Both suspects had dark complexions, she said.

To provide information on the robbery, contact Goose Creek police at 863-5200 or Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.

Do-rags. Gold teeth. Dark completions.
I guess we have to play a guessing game about what race they were.
Come on, if the public is to help ID these criminals, we need to know if they are white, black, yellow, brown, etc.
I guess it just isn't pc to tell us the race of a robber.
