City Market offers 'Art in Evening'

The Charleston City Market will present "Art in the Evening," an art show and sale by local artists from Charleston and across the state, from 7 to 10:30 p.m. Friday.

The show will take place in Building A of the market, which is located between North and South Market streets, and East Bay and Meeting streets.

In Building B, the new Moon Pie General Store will present bluegrass band Carrie Hassler and Hard Rain from 7 to 9 p.m.

Building C will hold the regular evening market until about 10:30 p.m.
