Deputies uncover meth lab in search
Saturday, January 31, 2009
ADAMS RUN — Dorchester County sheriff's deputies reported recovering a methamphetamine lab Thursday while conducting a search on Jimbo Lane and are now on the lookout with a local man in connection with the case.
Deputies have warrants for Stephen Joshua Burbage, 30, who might be armed and dangerous, said Capt. James Nettles. Charges include manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
Burbage was not home when deputies executed a search warrant and found a small- to medium-sized meth lab and 4 grams of meth in the backyard, Nettles said.
Anyone with information about Burbage is asked to call the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office at 873-5111 or Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
