Police identify gunshot victims
SPARTANBURG — Authorities have identified a man and woman found shot to death at a home west of Spartanburg.
The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office said Monday 21-year-old Teresa Martinez and 24-year-old Hugo Hernandez had both suffered gunshot wounds.
The bodies were found late Sunday afternoon at a farmhouse on S.C. Highway 101 south of Reidville.
Sheriff Chuck Wright says the victims were found by relatives and that the relationship between them was not clear.
Investigators say officers found the front door open and that a glass panel had been broken out.
The sheriff said relatives said the victims had lived in the home only two or three weeks.
