In always-growing Mount Pleasant, Blackbeard's Cove Family Fun Park is endless fun and then some.

Located on an old plantation along U.S. Highway 17, Blackbeard's Cove features eight acres of miniature golf, go-carts, wall climbing, laser tag, jump castles, video games and much, much more.

For the environmentally conscious, it is worth noting that Blackbeard's Cove is the only outdoor electric go-cart facility in North America.

Blackbeard's Cove is ideal for birthday parties and special packages are available to accommodate groups large or small. Access to the popular "Water Wars," where participants are encouraged to hurl buckets of water balloons at their friends, the large, indoor "Jump Land" and other features are included in the various packages.

Blackbeard's Cove has a full restaurant and plans to also feature paintball this spring.

Co-owners Wade Malloch and Jeff Sebuck take great ride in their more than two years in a venture that creates an environment exciting for children and accommodating for adults. And adults might even discover that the facility is not just a great place for the young, but the young at heart as well.
