Real estate center to present 2 forums
The College of Charleston's Carter Real Estate Center will present two forums in the weeks ahead to discuss conditions in the credit markets and their impact on the nation's commercial real estate industry.
The first is set for Jan. 20 at 6 p.m.
Scheduled speakers are Paul Saylor, chairman of CS Capital Management Inc.; Michael Torres, chairman of Adelante Capital Management LLC; Stan Harrelson, chief executive officer of Olympic/Cascade/Pinnacle; and Bryan McGowan, managing principal of the Koll Co.
Separately, Charleston Mayor Joe Riley will speak on the same topic on Feb. 17 at 6 p.m.
Both events will be held in the Beatty Center's Wachovia Auditorium at 5 Liberty St. in Charleston.
The forums are presented by the Friends of the Carter Real Estate Center.
