Man accused of child porn upload

Saturday, January 10, 2009

GOOSE CREEK — A Sass Drive man is accused of uploading child pornography on the Internet, the State Law Enforcement Division said Friday.

J.L. Taylor III, 61, is charged with second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, a felony punishable by as much as 10 years in prison, said Jennifer Timmons, SLED communications director.

She said investigators seized a computer disk from Taylor's residence and found images of children engaged in sexual activity.

The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office assisted with the investigation.
