Sea change
The people have spoken. Kiawah Island Golf Resort has made major changes in the dining experience at this Mobil Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond Resort.
The Ocean Room at The Sanctuary will now become Ocean Room Prime and on the menu will be lots of beef. Think American steak house and only think dinner.
The Turtle Point clubhouse will become Tomasso at Turtle Point and speak in the culinary language Americans love: Italian. It will serve pizza and pasta and will open for lunch, dinner and bar service.
The Atlantic Room at the Ocean Course clubhouse will become a modern American seafood house, serving regional and seasonal catch of the day along with global seafood preparations.
Service will include breakfast, lunch, bar and dinner.
All of the other resort dining properties will enhance its menus and revamp offerings. Pricing is also being reviewed for all the restaurants and cafes.
Visit www.kiawahresort.com or call 800-654-2924.

Every time we would catch one, we would put it in a container, label it and observe the lizard's behavior. Fast forward 25 years later, and wouldn't you know it, I still make poop jokes.
