Works by members of the Berkeley Artist Guild will be on exhibit at the North Charleston City Gallery through Jan. 31.

This exhibit celebrates the guild's 35th anniversary. Works on display will feature a variety of mediums and subjects.

An opening reception at the gallery is 5-7 p.m. tonight. Many of the artists will be present. The public is invited to attend.

The North Charleston City Gallery is in the Charleston Area Convention Center with free parking and admission during regular Convention Center operating hours, 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The Gallery is staffed only Friday, Saturday and Mondays. Inquiries about the artist or purchase information may be directed to the North Charleston Cultural Arts Department at 745-1087.

The Cultural Arts Program is the recipient of the 2000 Elizabeth O'Neill Verner Award for the Arts and receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts, S.C. Arts Commission, and the corporate community.
