SC FBI adopts Lexington middle school

COLUMBIA — FBI agents in Columbia are adopting a Lexington middle school.

The agency says Carolina Springs Middle School is the latest school in the FBI's Junior Special Agent Program.

FBI volunteers will come to the school and act as mentors as well as give presentations about staying off drugs, staying physically fit and avoiding crime.

As part of the program, students will get to go on field trips.

Part of Federal Grant money is all. But many of these children need "big brothers" who set good positive and moral examples. So I hope these agents take a strong interest in these children to teach them right from wrong.
