A woman died this afternoon after smashing her car into the back of a mobile home on Halfway Creek Road near United Road and the Wando Huger Community Center. Traffic is disrupted in the area.
The single-wide mobile home was being moved but was stopped on the shoulder when the car hit the back of it, said Major John Clark of the Charleston County Sheriff's Office. The coroner's office is en route.

But there are no shoulders on this road. It is barely big enough for two cars to pass on (ditches on both sides).
