Police seeking suspect in James Island car break-ins
Charleston police were asking the public for help locating a man suspected in a number of car break-ins on James Island.
Police have arrest warrants charging Kristopher David Todd, 20, of 780 Dills Bluff Road, with three counts of breaking and entering an automobile, said Charles Francis, police public information officer.
Todd is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. He also sometimes stays at an apartment on Camp Road, according to a wanted poster distributed by police.
The car break-ins occurred on Lotus Lane, Wayfarer Lane and Ocean Neighbors on James Island on Nov. 19 and 30 and Dec. 11, Francis said.
Anyone with information about the car break-ins or the suspect should call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111 or Charleston Police at 577-7434.
