Why I wanted to go into education: Teaching afforded me summers off to be with my children. I fell in love with teaching and working with youngsters, especially the students who needed an extra push to succeed.
Something I've always wanted to learn: To play my guitar.
Something important life has taught me: Give back and be considerate of others. You will be rewarded beyond your wildest dreams.
Something most people don't know about me: I was captain of my basketball team at Lincoln High School. I was also MVP.
Something my parents always told me: You need to become a teacher because you always wanted answers for everything.
Fond childhood memory: My first two-wheel bicycle given to me by my brother.
A specific goal I hope to accomplish during this first year: To restore discipline at NCHS and implement an effective instructional program in literacy across the curriculum.
