Grand Strand man dies in all-terrain vehicle crash

LITTLE RIVER — A 26-year-old South Carolina man has died after crashing his all-terrain vehicle into a tree this weekend.

The Sun News of Myrtle Beach reported Monday that Christopher Timothy Davis of Loris died Saturday night.

Authorities say Davis had just purchased his all-terrain vehicle and was riding with a friend. He crashed into a tree in Little River around 4:55 p.m. Saturday and was flown to a North Carolina hospital where he later died.

Davis was not wearing a helmet.
