To Timothy King, You have saved countless others a lot of fear and grief with your actions. There will be no more robberies by this piece of trash. You also have saved taxpayers a lot of money feeding and housing that thug. The way I see it is that the scumbag committed suicide in robbing the wrong household. Thank You.

I don't generally applaud the loss of life but in this case I'm glad it was the criminal that lost his instead of an innocent homeowner or bystander. Even still I feel for his family too...good or bad, that's a bad way to go

You people are pathetic. Yes, a wrongful act was commited but the God I serve teaches forgviness. NO one knows the full extent of the situation that occurred but yet everyone is so quick to judge. Their is only one judge and his name is GOD. Instead of the negativty why not say a prayer for all parties involved.

The God of all eternity gives us the right to use deadly force to defend our lives and property. Just read the Bible. Jesus Himself told his disciples to defend themselves when necessary. ( Luke 22:36 "Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.")

Oh, and by the way, it's too late to pray for the criminal. His fate is sealed for all eternity. (Hebrews 9:27 "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.")
God is a forgiving God, but he is also a Just God and MUST punish sin. The only just sentence for sin is an eternity in Hell if you die before repenting of your sin and accepting Jesus as your Savior.

I am glad that Timothy was able to protect himself and his family. Anyone who forces their way into a house ceases to have any "rights" as far as I am concerned.
I will send positive thoughts to Timothy because shooting a person is not an easy thing.
Thank you sir for your courage.

I'm sorry to hear that young man had to lose his life. However, Timothy happens to be MY relative and I'm happy he didn't have to lose his life in the privacy of his own home.
