Staff reports
Thursday, September 25, 2008
Internet search giant Google is offering a few Berkeley County residents a chance to attend the Oct. 7 grand opening of its $600 million data center near Goose Creek.
The company said it will randomly select 50 people from among those who register who will be allowed to bring one guest to the event, which runs from 3 to 6 p.m. in Mount Holly Commerce Park off U.S. Highway 52.
Winners will be will notified by Oct. 4.
Because of space constraints, Google is limiting the offer to residents of Berkeley County.
